Information

The Sunbutter Spf50 Water Resistant Reef Safe Sunscreen is a new generation of suncare that is skin and earth conscious. A sunscreen that won’t give you chemical induced breakouts or stinging eyes. A skin-safe and reef-safe formula you actually enjoy putting on.

SunButter sunscreen is made with certified sustainable ingredients and broad spectrum UVA and UVB mineral blocker zinc oxide, which lends superior restorative and nurturing qualities for all skin types, even sensitive and/or weathered skin. This moisturising sunscreen will leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and protected from the elements.

The benefits of this sunscreen are:

  • Reef Safe No Sunspheres (Nano Plastic Particles) Certified.
  • Safe for all skin types including sensitive skin, babies and face application.
  • Made in Australia in a solar powered factory.
  • Tins are food grade safe, made from REUSABLE and recyclable material and BPA free.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Non Nano Zinc Oxide 230mg/g. Inactive Ingredients: Median chain triglyceride (from coconut oil), Candelilla wax, Coco-caprylate (from coconut oil), Castor Oil, Coconut Oil, Polyglyceryl-3 polyricinoleate (vegetable based emulsifier), Isostearic acid (plant based binder), Tocopheryl acetate (Vitamin E).

How To Use

It’s important to apply it 20 minutes before you venture outdoors. SunButter Sunscreen works perfectly underneath both liquid and mineral make-up. However, we do recommend applying the sunscreen 20 minutes before any powder-based foundations. This is to ensure that the moisturising oils absorb into your skin, preventing any of your make-up from clumping.

Warnings

In reality, there are plenty of external factors that will affect the duration of sun protection. For example, weather, physical activities, sweat, water exposure and contact with clothes and towels all have an impact. Furthermore, a lot of people don’t wear enough sunscreen in the first place. It is therefore important to reapply frequently, at least every 2 hours.
