Zostrix 0.025 percent is a gentle‑strength capsaicin cream that may be useful as an adjunct in the temporary relief of pain associated with arthritis and may also be useful for the treatment of post herpetic neuralgia, which is pain following shingles. Formulated with capsaicin, the cream works by targeting Substance P, a chemical messenger involved in carrying pain signals. Regular use can help manage symptoms long term. The non greasy, odourless formula is suitable for daily application.

Ingredients
Zostrix contains 0.025% w/w of capsaicin.
How To Use
Apply a small amount of cream to the affected area.
Apply regularly, 3-4 times a day.
Use as long as required.
Keep the area dry for 30 minutes.
Warnings
Do not apply Zostrix when shingles are active.
This product should only be used for the relief of the pain that can follow shingles.
Do not apply a large amount of Zostrix in the affected area; little and often is the rule tofollow.
Do not apply cream to cracked or broken skin.
Do not apply cream just before or after a hot bath/shower.
Avoid contact with eyes and other sensitive areas.
If possible, avoid washing treated area for at least 30 minutes after application.
Do not bandage tightly.
