Information

Suitable for smokers who have their first cigarette of the day more than 30 minutes after waking up.

Nicotinell® Lozenges provide a slow, controlled release of therapeutic nicotine to help you get through a craving. Being a discreet lozenge, they are a gum-alternative that can be had anywhere.

Uses: Nicotinell 4mg is for smokers who smoke less than 20 cigarettesa day.

Ingredients

Nicotine 2mg (as polacrilex)

Contains: 2.8g of mannitol per 15 lozenges which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. Sucralose.

How to Use

The program contains 3 steps, which should be used according to the following schedule.

  1. Place one lozenge in your mouth.
  2. Move from one side of the mouth to the other periodically.
  3. Continue until fully dissolved. The lozenge should not be chewed, sucked or swallowed whole. Only have one lozenge at a time and no more than 15 per day.

Week 1-6 : Have one lozenge every 1–2 hours. Adults should have at least 9 lozenges in total during this period.

Week 7-9 : Have one lozenge every 2–4 hours.

Week 10-12 : Have one lozenge every 4-8 hours.

As you get closer to victory, you will be able to reduce how often you have a lozenge. To help you stay smoke free over the next 12 weeks, take 1 nicotine lozenge in situations where you are strongly tempted to smoke.
