Information

The Bodyassist Dual Splint Thumb Support is an advanced, low-profile brace engineered to provide comfortable, medically sound stabilization for the thumb and wrist joints. Featuring a highly customizable internal splint and high-performance technical fabrics, it delivers exceptional protection during injury recovery while leaving your fingers entirely free to maintain normal daily movement.

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Customisable Aluminium Splint: Equipped with a rigid, bendable aluminium splint that can be manually shaped to match your exact anatomy for a truly personalized, therapeutic fit.

  • Breathable Airprene Construction: Crafted from high-grade Airprene (specialized breathable neoprene) that allows constant airflow, dramatically reducing sweat build-up compared to standard supports.

  • Advanced Coolmax® Lining: Features a premium Coolmax® interior lining that actively wicks moisture away from the skin, regulating temperature so you stay cool, dry, and comfortable during extended wear.

  • Complete Finger Freedom: Expertly contoured to secure and protect the first metacarpal thumb joint while leaving your remaining fingers with a completely unrestricted range of motion.

  • Lightweight & Low-Profile: Designed to be incredibly lightweight and sleek, allowing it to fit comfortably and discreetly beneath everyday clothing or work gloves.

  • Universal Left or Right Fit: Utilizes fully adjustable contact closure straps to guarantee a secure, slip-free fit on either the left or right hand.

  • Hygienic & Reusable: Durable materials ensure the brace can be easily washed and reused for long-term support throughout your recovery.

Ideal For:

  • Treatment of sprains, strains, and minor tendon injuries of the thumb and wrist.
  • Managing thumb joint instability, arthritis, or repetitive strain injuries (RSI).
  • Post-operative stabilization or protection during daily household and work tasks.

How To Use

  • Adjust thumb wrap (found at the top, most narrow part of the brace) to comfortably fit your thumb.
  • This may be adjusted several times until the best fit is found.
  • Insert your thumb through the brace and into the closed thumb segment.
  • Position the splint so it runs centrally along the outside of the thumb & ends at the wrist.
  • Thread the wrist strap through the buckle and reverse back to firmly close the wrist strap. Now adjust for comfort.
  • Do not apply too tightly so as to stop circulation.
  • You should now feel a level of support & stability along the outside of the thumb.
